M81044/12 is a lightweight lead wire with a light wall made up of an extruded, cross-linked polyalkene insulation and an extruded, cross linked polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) jacket. This wire is used in high density cable and harnessing applications because of its size and weight advantages. It also has excellent resistance to cut-through, abrasion, cold flow, shrink back, notch propagation, and common chemicals. These wires also strip and stripe easily, may be potted, and have low smoke characteristics.
